I had a really light week, exercise-wise, this week as I was having a new floor laid and so didn’t make my usual gym classes. It seems to have helped my hamstring heal and gave be renewed energy to charge up the Ashton Court hill this morning. Helped by getting into a ding-dong battle on the way back down I knocked almost a minute off last week’s time and was perilously close to going under 24 minutes again for the first time in ages. I was starting to worry I couldn’t run fast any longer.
I finished 80th out of 229 parkrunners, was 10th lady and 1st in my age category. Still 2nd in the points table.
