Another long progression run today, this time along the nice smooth and wide railway path so I could wear shorts without having my legs shredded by brambles and stinging nettles. It was the last 7 minutes or so that was the hardest part of the run. Having got up to race pace from easy without too much trouble, it was a matter of maintaining it to the end of the time with what were becoming tired legs. I’m pretty happy with how it went though, but will have to remember to stretch out a couple more times this evening to stop myself from seizing up. I’m also impressed that my GPS filled in the gaps when I went through an old railway tunnel.
