It was hot and sunny out there and I was sweating by the end of the warm up and stretches. A hard session had been laid out for us and I had been bumped up to the faster of Chris’s two groups with 5 sets of 600m & 300m (with a 300m and 400m recovery after each respectively). I was at the back of the group and managed all 5 of the 600m, but didn’t think the final fast 300m would be a good idea so finished a little earlier, jogging it out and having a stretch. I wasn’t the only one not to complete the full 5 sets. Hot, hard work.
