I faded a bit on my run back home from Body Pump Express, probably because I had an almond croissant for breakfast instead of my usual cereal. I had upped my tricep and bicep weights, but that shouldn’t have affected my legs.
I did run a bit further than is recorded on the Garmin. After I had stopped my watch and was waiting for the traffic lights to change at a busy intersection on my way back home I was accosted by a man demanding my attention and a hug. Luckily for me the lights changed, and someone shouted to him from a passing car so I was able to sprint off as if I hadn’t already finished my run. A good job I still had a little left in my legs. Does this sort of thing happen to male runners?
