Not customer service week

Virgin Media’s broadband went down in my area yesterday. They eventually got it fixed, but all day today still no internet. Could connect to the router OK, but router was adamant that there was no internet connection.

After about an hour on the phone with customer service and turning everything off and back on again, then again, and again, and again, it started to work through the modem, but not through the router.

Router has been reset, can see router but router cannot see internet which is plugged into it via ethernet.

2 and a half hours is enough to spend on this for one day, especially following another half four start to the day (this time due to being ejected from bed).
