The final parkrun of 2013 and there were a few familiar faces missing, which meant I was higher up in the rankings than I would normally be, even though I had to stop and retie my shoelace in the last 600m. I’ll be back again on Tuesday for Big Kev’s final run of the year, and again on New Year’s Day (I haven’t decided yet whether to make it a double-header with Little Stoke).

I finished 57th out of 173 runners, was 7th lady and 3rd in my age category. I then beetled over to Twickenham to watch some rugby with free tickets.
