I somehow managed another pb this week, despite the drizzling rain, having to jog to make the start on time, and sustaining an actual running injury about the 3.5km mark (a stone jumped up off of the gravel path and wacked the top of my foot, marking and bruising it). I had figured that I wasn’t on for a pb at the turn (having got a little distracted by there actually being deer in the deer park) so didn’t push as hard as I probably could on the return leg and just missed out on sub 25 minutes. I finished 78th out of 171, was 10th lady and 1st in my age category.
