A good run ahead of the Bath Sykline 10km tomorrow (really 10.8km). I hadn’t slept well but managed to hang on to Emma’s tail up onto the plateau and somehow got and stayed ahead of her to close the gap between us in the points race by a point. The weather window just about managed to hold, but I was glad of my lightweight jacket against the gusty wind. I kept my GPS hidden under my sleeve for the entire race run, so it was a nice surprise to be in the low 24 minutes, and I was able to make a quick getaway to my OU tutorial.

I finished 94th out of 296 runners, was 10th lady and 2nd in my age grade.
