Building project 3 is my new kitchen. Today was Day 1. So far the left hand-side of the old kitchen has been dismantled and removed and the first tall unit has been assembled and erected. This unit contains my new fridge and freezer (and has a bonus cupboard to use up as much space as possible). It being the first unit meant that there was lots of jiggling to get it at the correct height that would avoid hitting the (repainted) beams. It just needs the freezer door re-aligning and the handles attaching and it’s good to go (this should happen tomorrow).

Not bad considering work wasn’t supposed to start until Monday.
