Day 5 and the right hand side of the kitchen is complete (apart from some plaster repairs and dealing with the fact that the wall isn’t straight but the worktop is). I have spent my evening putting almost everything back into its place, including things that were stored in boxes but can now be admired.

The demolition of the left hand side of the kitchen started and will be completed tomorrow, with the dishwasher and washing machine hopefully being plumbed in. Then it will be a case of waiting for the worktops to be delivered on Saturday. At least they have already had the holes cut into them for the sink, tap and hob, so fitting them shouldn’t take too long.
