Washing machine has now completely stopped working and the cost of repair is likely to exceed the cost of a new machine, so guess what I’ll be doing next Sunday. At least Sunday delivery and installation is the same price as any other day (and cheaper using Comet than trying to find a separate installer), plus they’ll take the old machine away and “recycle” it. It had a fair life, though (almost up to the average life depending on which survey you believe) and the new one has a better energy efficiency rating.
