Day 10/365 – Ashton Court parkrun

The first double digit day was a slog up the Ashton Court hill into a strong headwind. A couple of times on the hill up to the plateau I stopped and walked as it was the same speed as running, but less effort. If anyone managed a pb today I will be shocked (unless it was their first or second time). A bit of assistance on the way back down from the wind, but by that point it had broken a lot of us.

I finished 124th out of 344 parkrunners, was 12th lady and 1st in my age category. Jane was running with Steve to celebrate his 100th parkrun, so I stretched a little further away in 2nd place on the points table (but it is still delaying the inevitable).
