It was very strange not to run until the evening, but it was the first race in the Aztec West 5k summer series and the course is known for pbs, so I was only running in the evening. It’s 3 laps of the Aztec West complex, plus a little bit and I am assured that it was correctly measured, but to get the Garmin to click over to 5k I had to continue on into the car park. My official time for the 5k was 21:47 which is almost a minute off my pb, so you’ve got to be happy with that. We’ll have to see how long the course measures next time.
