Day 149/365

The weather forecast for Sunday is starting to improve, but this morning it was trialling the original forecast – wet and windy. I’ve got a very busy schedule at the moment and am planning to run for a pb on Sunday regardless of the weather, so it was on with the England cricket training top and out into the deluge. I was the only runner out there and the harder it rained, the wider my smile got. There’s something absurd in running in such ridiculous weather conditions, and it spurred me on to run much faster than intended. My shoes should dry out in time for Sunday, which will be their last outing, and it was my last chance to run this particular riverside route before work starts on the bridge.
