My second attempt at the two-mile course in the self-transcendence series, but it was a bit windy so I wasn’t expecting great things. Having recently switched my watch to miles instead of km I was theoretically able to gauge my pace, but I was too busy pushing hard to even look at my watch. When I went through the one mile marker and was told 06:50, I thought I was going a bit quick. The time that was shouted out when I crossed the line was 13:35, which is 29 seconds faster than last time. I also managed to move myself up from 4th lady to 3rd lady over this distance, just keeping ahead of Rosey. That gives me a 3rd lady, 4th lady and 5th lady medal for the series.
