Day 250 – arbitrary base 10 celebration time. I am constantly being surprised by how my body is recovering. I was expecting to be horribly stiff and hobbling after yesterday’s 18 miles, but when I got up this morning it was the same as any other morning (which does not mean I wasn’t stiff and a little bit hobbling, but not horribly so). This meant that my recovery run was done at a slightly faster pace than planned, because I wasn’t paying attention to my pace and just running at what felt like an easy pace. Maybe there is something in this Hanson training method after all (I certainly hope so).
