This morning’s recovery run was tough after the Sodbury Slog yesterday, with very little left in my legs after those exertions. I am aware that even though I run at Ashton Court every week, my hill work is still quite week, so I decided to work on a new 5k loop which takes in Trooper’s Hill. This has the added bonus of including much needed elevation for the monthly Strava climbing challenge, and I took the championship record on strava going up the hill first time out (possibly because very few people are daft enough to try and run up Trooper’s Hill Road).
