DSE212 – week 12 – Perception and Attention, Variables, SPSS

The schedule for this week is empty for the Easter break, but I’m getting ahead a little by doing next week’s work (whilst simultaneously being a week behind). This involved three quite different sections – the first looking at attention, the second variables (and appropriate statistics to use), the third being actually putting data into SPSS and manipulating it. Lots of interesting things about attention such as the Stroop effect and a reintroduction to Donald Broadbent.

I’ve now got to go back and do last week’s work, which was for the assignment that isn’t due until May 7th…
