The psychology of personality this week with looking at the individual differences approach with Cattell, Costa & McCrae, Goldberg and Eysenck. An interesting look at the potential for genetic bases in personality and heritability with good old twin studies. I wonder if twins feel obligated to engage in twin studies because they represent such a unique insight into heritability (though you can use non-twins)? Also a little look at Zimbardo’s infamous Standford prison experiment looking at situational changes to personality/behaviours.
This is the end of the first book.
