and it is…the local tip. OK, so it’s been rebranded as the local civic amenity/recycling/saving the world place, but it’s still the tip just with categories.

I love it so much that I have been there 4 times this week (three times on Monday when I got to witness the tackiest wedding party ever) and cleared out most of my loft and understairs cupboard of superfluous crap (the other crap I am keeping).

I can’t believe I didn’t do this years ago (well actually I can, the lack of transport made tip trips awkward). It’s wonderfully liberating to get rid of all of that clutter, as well as knowing that it can be recycled. The crash it all makes and you chuck stuff over the side is also rewarding.

I shall move through the rest of the rooms of my house trying to gather enough stuff to make another trip.
