Ashton Court is full of balloons this week, so it was off for a visit to the totally flat Little Stoke parkrun instead. I was still a bit sore from my exertions of Wednesday, but once I’d stretched (and had a go on the death slide) I felt OK and it didn’t seem to impair my running at all.
It’s always a bit odd running a new course and I feel like I could go a bit faster next time now that I know what to expect (though this is my fastest parkrun 5km time, it was a bit short of 5km). I did manage to keep ahead of a small child, so that’s something.
I was 77 out of 196, 5th lady, and 2nd in my age group.
