I didn’t mess up my weights in Body Pump today and so was in a bit better shape when I hit the treadmill for the day’s zombie run. I initially forgot to turn on zombie chases, then forgot that it was still in GPS tracking mode and somehow managed to turn zombie chases off again, but I completed the mission and did the whole run at my half marathon pace to make up for not having to speed up for zombies. I wore my new purple new balance running shoes (same style as the ones I was fitted for last week) which had been delivered that morning.

I had also stopped by Ikea on the way to the gym to pick up some shoe storage units for the hallway which I fitted when I got back. I can now keep my running shoes in the hallway instead of scattered around the house (with lavender sachets in the units).

The top unit has my Brooks trail shoes and my old nike lunarlites. The lunarlites are being replaced by the new balance shoes in the bottom unit, but will be making a final outing at the Castle Coombe Chilly 10k as the new shoes won’t be worn in sufficiently by then.
