An early start and out along the river trail checking for signs as to whether the cloud cover was likely to burn off in time for the eclipse. Only one other runner out and about at that time of day, but a couple of friendly cats too. Back in plenty of time to shower and set up the binocular projector in the garden to watch the eclipse.
