This week has been “interesting” in terms of commuting.

Monday: flooding and heavy spray (and lots of nutters still doing 90 in all of this).
Tuesday: ice – windscreen re-froze on way to work.
Wednesday: accident just after motorway junction which led to a detour through the fields; evening commute had someone holding up traffic by doing 25 in a 60 zone.
Thursday: almost got driven off the road by a van swerving into my lane for no good reason.
