Week 2, day 2 – steady run

Yesterday was strength and conditioning, which consisted of yoga with the kittens ‘helping’ (as my gym instructor is off for Christmas so all of her classes are cancelled).

Today was my first ‘steady’ run with 45 minutes out along the railway path. I’m working to heart rate zones still and this was supposed to be in zone 3, which ended up being my marathon pace (though I didn’t know it until I stopped, handily close to the vet’s to pick up some kitten food).

Intervals again tomorrow, this time with even less recovery time between efforts.
